What do 6th through 12th grade youth at First Presbyterian Church have in common? They are all PYGS! (Presbyterian Youth Group Members).
The PYGs combine community service, mission work, worship and study with fellowship and FUN. Their headquarters are down in the PYG Pen (church basement) where they meet every Sunday morning during the school year at 9:00am. Sunday School follows at 9:30am. In worship, PYGs are active in the Folk and Chime Choirs, ushering and greeting, and serving as worship assistants. Approximately 5-6 times per year they spend the night down in the PYG Pen, playing games, watching movies, and worshipping God in new and reflective ways. To learn about upcoming PYG events please check the church calendar or the current issue of the Grapevine (the church newsletter).
