Presbyterian Youth Group (PYG)
The Presbyterian Youth Group is about loving Jesus, growing in our relationship with him and growing in our relationships with each other.
We go about this in many ways,
but we strive for them all to look something like this:
We create a Christian community of believers in which all are welcomed and accepted.
We do our best to live lives that are Christ-centered, reflecting the love of God not only to all who attend our group, but to everyone we meet.
We embrace and encourage laughter, energy, humor, and creativity as expressions of the abundant life in Christ.
We demonstrate respect, care, and compassion toward ourselves, each other, the community we live in, and the whole of God’s creation.
We commit ourselves and our resources to the outreach, service, ministry and mission of First Presbyterian Church. We are not a group unto ourselves, but one part of a loving, committed, spirit-filled congregation.
Weekly Schedule:
Sunday School 9:30 am
Worship: Sundays at 10:30am in the sanctuary
Mid-week Youth group Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the PYG Pen
Many special events, trips, retreats, and fun happen year round
